Hi, I'M Batman

Words dissolved like crystals on my tongue Moisture filled my mouth, my jaws converged City lights shimmered in the distance Wings bashed the air, passed the yellow Moon, Our footsteps slowly fell into synch And I wondered, what about your smile? Busy bees were buzzing in my head Inspiration came to me like fire! “Hi, I’m Bat Man “I said, “Here for you!” “Superhero number one”, you smiled! I stretched my imaginary cape Laid it at your feet, “Madame” I cried! That’s how I imagined we could be- Me so gallant and you so carefree-

Chivalry is not dead! :) This is awesome, David! Love the first line leading us into your wonderful imagination. You could surely teach some manners to the fictional Batman. I can't stop smiling. Wishing you the best! Mikki

I love it David.. an awesome picture painted to the last drop of crystals on my taste buds.. I like that I can taste it as much as place an image with it... shivers me bone.. to know Gotham, has an eagle eye over it.. or should I say bats eye. Lurking a hero in the dark... enjoyed and take care...p.d.
