Hey, It's Me

Why do I only write sad poems You ask The person sitting on the other side It is perhaps As I wave my hand towards her Lightly I whisper Are you fine? Right into my soul You are blankly staring at me for a while She never answered But it feels so sad Like both of us know The unknowns of the heart The lonely waves after all the sufferings Only she and I know So, we keep this silence For a long-long time And sometimes it just gets poured On a plain white paper With a dark black ink The silences and the sufferings All at once.
