Notes About The Poem

He's a Flop Bawdy Limerick Now Updated

A rampant old bird called Caitlin Prepared for a long night of sin Bill made it his mission And got in position But sobbed when she asked ‘is it in’ Bill said you’ve no right to be fussy You’ve got such a cavernous pussy Let’s admit we are old But we try to be bold You were once a right little hussy! Thanks to Chris Green for inspiration for the second stanza! 04~24~17

Me too, Jan! Pray I can contain myself ... as I have many "prayer workshops" coming up. Can't be distracted by Grand Canyons of any size. Oxymoron? (I mean canyons of sheer height and depth) Peace and Holy Water .... sprinkle me

Jan, you outdid yourself here. SEVEN for boldness. The Anglican Church called me to investigate ... (the rhyme, only). I see how "fussy" rhymes with "hussy," but unless we ooze "pus" we can't have pussy, now, could we? Anywhooo- shalom my dearest sister (Praying for you, LOL!)

I could think of a few good comebacks for Bill, something along the lines of being lost in the Grand Canyon, but I'll keep them to myself. I wouldn't want to scare the cat anymore than what it is already. :) Funny Jan.
