Hereafter
Hear the sad strains
In the cold rain,
Wet wet refrains
In gloomy pain.
Watch the crowds weep
As body sleeps,
Sadness hurts deep
As sorrow creeps.
This final show
As rainfall grows,
Sky's teary flow
In dreary glow.
Along the streets
And route we meet,
Where salutes greet
In solemn beat.
Farewell, farewell
As dark skies swell,
We come to gel
Our final tell.
A nation pays
A final say,
To you today:
No words can pay.
Your legacy
Lives most clearly,
In harmony:
True hearts set free.
