Here To Stay
I write for myself,
let my message be clear.
My words will bring truth,
and stifle all fear.
I bring forth a message,
between a few words that rhyme.
Yes, I did keep my day job,
this is only part time.
I may not be beautiful,
or politically correct.
My friendship and loyalty,
is something you won't ever get.
I say what I mean,
and I mean what I say.
Trust me sugar britches,
I'm here to stay.
