Her Life
Her path cut deep like a beautiful slice,
Deep through the mountainside wood,
Drenched in the shadow of the forest above,
Passing each Alpine Ash foot,
It took her up to the silence of birds,
Up to the silence of wind,
This path led her up in a trustworthy line,
Up to where all streams begin,
And when she arrived she peered down to the world,
Back on the life she has grown,
She looked through the nooks on the path she has lived,
The only path that she has known,
This path she has walked cut a beautiful course,
Each footstep raised her to be proud,
She walked by herself each step of the way,
This time in her world which is now.
