Too many people these days seem hell bent on denying their true beauty in the race to achieve eternal youth. In the proccess, it seems to me people sacrifice themselves for the scalpel.

This body I’m in is not my real body, I’ve not seen this body before, I miss my old body, my reliable self, I want my old body restored, These cheeks are not soft, they’re stiff and rigid, My smile floats off into space, Now I look in the mirror and see someone else, Someone with a surgical face, And all of my friends, they see someone new, Not me, their friend, their old mate, From bottom to top they see a stranger, Someone with a new body shape, I don’t like this body, it’s not my real body, To me this new body is dead, I think I should live alone by myself, Alone right up in this head.
