Help Me Lord To Still Say Yes
Help me lord to still sincerely say yes
To your words, ways, warnings and will
Help and hold my heart, and mend my mess
In the stormy seas and seasons, keep me still
Help me not to be trodden by the tempted throng
Straighten my mild mind as I mount thy holy hill
I’m shivering, Lord make me steady and strong
More than ever before, I need a word of wisdom
Save my soul from this sour, sorrowful song
I’m erring, yet eyeing thy colorful kingdom
Oh, help me to look up to you and be upright
For I am feeble and frail and can’t fight for freedom
Abide with me, fast falls the naughty night
The darkness dreads me, lord be my gentle guide
I’m blind and blurred, please be my lovely light
In tears and torment, bliss and whatever betide
Help me lord to still sincerely say yes
In stress, stains and whatever sell me to snide;
Help and hold my heart and mend my mess
