Help Me Fall In Love
Encouragement and deep
reassurance is all I’ll ever need,
succor from you when life’s
stresses get tough-
Please let go of the blame,
jealousy and greed,
as I beg on one knee to
help me fall in love.
Let us serve in kindness
and find ease with grace,
give sincere relief to
each other when due-
When you are in that state
of mind and need space,
room to breathe I shall
always give to you.
Can you foster your affection,
and give me adoration?
Can you fly me to mountains
like an ivory dove?
Can you promise to be grateful
for my God-given creation?
Oh sweetheart, can you
help me fall in love?
Upholding a guarantee
is all I shall ask of you,
vow with every cell in your
body to be mine-
Foretell my aspirations and
make my dreams come true,
as our beauty and compassion
delicately combine.
Intertwine our hopes and
free me from woe,
let us live divine like the
sweet cherubs up above-
Hold me tight in passion
and never let me go,
and dear man, I plead…
help me fall in love.
