Hello September I’m so glad you are here because Autumn is my favorite time of year The hillside’s now adorned with pretty purple heather and I still love to go walking despite the inclement weather! Tall trees are beautified with vibrant colorful leaves Soon they’ll twirl to the ground When the biting breeze thieves Hello September I’m delighted you’re here as the forthcoming harvest will bring us great cheer Hello September Poetry Contest Sponsored by Mystic Rose Rose 09/17/21

In September I was born (don't ask the date, it's a secret). So many feasts occur here. My name comes from the feast of Our Lady of Victory. But now it is also the time of vendemmia and I love a small glass of wine everyday. A cheerful poem. Best for a win.

Just delightful Jan - beautiful fall images and I love the image of the fall wind as a thief! So original. I had forgotten that the heather blooms in autumn. Looking forward to a walk in the autumn woods! Congratulations. Autumn hugs! :)
