Heavenly Winter Forest

It is snowing in the forest and all is pure white and perfection. Except for tiny animal prints and my own. Some people call winter hell but I must call it heaven. I can hear the trees crackling, their branches laden with heavy snow. Icicles hang here and there like chandeliers. Soon, they will be dripping. Oh, so divine the scenes God has created. The fragile snowflakes so gentle, kissing my cheeks and lips. I can taste it. An icy stream still flows and the lovely wild horses are drinking. I must be quiet to not startle them. Moving away I walk in this forest that I know so well. There is an old tree that I always visit. It is twisted and gnarled, home to many a creature, with branches touching the ground in an odd way. Nature is so sublime. But, winter my favorite. the bird songs echo nature is speaking in sighs whispering snow falls
