Heaven and Hell Access All Areas

As I wrote about Hell My senses got heightened I wrote an incredible poem But deleted it, frightened I'll try again, but from a safe space Like Tenacious D Lost something great in haste But here I am, afraid to describe Fire and fury, Hell in it's glory Infinite torture with no place to hide There's a theory that Hell's here already That's not too bad Though makes me unsteady Chance to derail eternal pain Be good, stay on track, pray enough Play the game Well, play the game with your heart really in it No fakers make the grade For Heaven's access all areas permit Hell Poetry Contest 7th March 2023 Sponsored by: Robert James Liguori

Beautiful thoughts on heaven. I wonder why you deleted your poem on hell. Perhaps we can read it some other time.

Thank you Valsa. I'd adjusted something about my own nightmares I'd already written then put the last line as you've already been judged... Frightened myself far too much as I'm Catholic and these things are all too scary. Felt I absolutely must delete to save myself arrggghh!

Yes, I could only manage a safe write on this one. Luckily I did get to sleep but only after I deleted version 1 :)
