My heart is broken, and I fold my wings; with grief unspoken, oh, life sometimes stings ! Grief is a dark cloak, and a hood to hide; my words a faint croak, as I seek my pride ! I wander the streets, drinking black cafe; it is raining sheets, in a church I pray ! I am so alone, have lost my best friend; the trees moan and groan, and in the wind bend ! Is this God's message, to bend with the storms; is this God's *lesson, to flow with the *turns ! Some friends do not stay, meant to go away !

What an amazing poem in this form of poetry, you are a master at writing, thanks for writing for us all, to be able to write in so many forms but yet poor out so many touching emotions, the warrior of the spirit within guiding and directing to be a light to all , Great to hear your eye surgery went well, must be amazing to see ,

Stephan, thank you so much for the compliment on my poem and me and your kind comment. I have 20/20 vision in my right eye but still need surgery in my left, that will happen in a few months, but still it is amazing, it is like someone turned the lights on and I am seeing in technicolor !
