Heart Shades
Chaste innocence pulses a newborn's heart.
Babes sweetly believe life is pureness shared.
In time, infants bloom singular feel art
for life paints them all both love and hurt bared.
All hearts are made to feel scorned, burned and torn,
to choose a weak or brave heartbeat array.
Some hearts retain pure bits, some turn forlorn,
and some burn emotions in fear's ashtray.
My own heart shines opal hues simply bright
from feels most radiant and blued pains mixed,
then glossed in faith caught drops of fluid light.
Either way, my opal heart beats thus fixed.
Perhaps, heart gemstones pulse knowledge to solve
how all newborn hearts may with love evolve.
