Heart Race

My heart keeps on beating But it almost stopped yesterday As it went on its own race On the side of the highway Now, I am thankful to be home Safe again, but work doesn’t stop If only I could get a break To rest with no more heart flip flop Now, all is quiet in the twilight I watch the sky change for now The air is cold, but the house is warm Everything will work out somehow Heidi Sands 12/12/18

Something gave you a fright! And with a poet's pen, you defeated it.

I have Tachardia (sp?) due to a tumor I have. So, yes, it was a fright when it couldn't be stopped trying to drive to a doctor appointment. Thank you for your comment Sunlite :)
