Familiar everyday landscape comforts
Consciousness deadened to the obvious
Being our innate aliveness that spurts
Moment to moment, each touch sensuous
Senses externalised, everything sized
Hearts desire flits from object to object
Deep hypnotic trance, self-blocking surprise
Release found in void of silence perfect
Our awareness, detached and nonchalant
Unchanging screen, upon which earth life flows
Propelled by Gods omnipresent current
Recognised instantly, when thoughts be slow
Oh hermit! Be in but not of the world
Behold the heart lotus, being unfurled
