Like this poem of feigned hearing difficulty. It does come in handy.

I love the freedom of choice they give, silence is golden. I thought you expressed this just right, Gershon.

Can't hear you, only put them in when we go out. LOL There's more than one way to look at everything isn't there. Bill

Lol! I am hard of hearing as well. I began gradually losing my hearing in my teens. Well, through the years, with eight kids, especially the first five who loved playing different tastes of music here and there throughout the house: rock, country, classical, and one dear loved death metal. It didn't bother me until my husband bought me a hearing aid and I thought that I would lose my mind. Wow, dueling music! I find peace in my limited hearing; I am content without an aid. So yes, I hear ya!

Thanks for telling me about this Bj. In retrospect, it's really hilarious: All the advertisements today for 'miracle ears' and such... and here you come along and say, "You know what, guys, sometimes not hearing every little thing is a tremendous blessing. Couldn't agree more! ~ Hear no evil...

Hahaha. Could you shout that, Jerry. Just can't make out what's bothering your wife. ~ Attle Bax

had to laugh...hubby wears a hearing aid...and he does so most of the time. When he doesn't, he speaks loudly, "What did ya say? You know I can't hear without my ears in." I'm convinced you two make quite a pair. Have a pleasant day, Sara
