Sadly,Brian, these days it takes more than a three ring circus to get them off their cell phones or Ipods to listen to anything at all. (I suppose a big shootout on the street might take their attention) Sorry, I am in one of my cynical moods! But I do love what you are saying here! If people allow it, words can have a magical soothing effect! andrea

My sentiments too Brian; expressed so melodically by you. To me, that is the difference between poetry, free verse and prose, although prose and free verse can also captivate an audience. One for my favourite list. Elaine
