Head In the Soon-To-Be Desert Sand

Climate churning, quite concerning.
   We go right on oil-burning,
Science spurning, undiscerning, 
   Old-time habits not unlearning,
Profits earning, blindly yearning
   For our carefree youth's returning.
.....Little hope for tables turning.....
