He Says, She Says

She says his company defrauded Medicare
He claims ties to lobbyists make her votes unfair

Her ads paint him out to be an evil anti-Christ
He states her integrity has been sacrificed

So how do we choose from candidates so evil
One has no morals; the other is a devil

No Mother Teresas in political races
And their ads don’t discuss the problems that face us

So I’ll write in Pat Paulson once again this year
And give the politicos that famous Bronx cheer

I haven't voted since 2008. I really don't trust any of the politician. They all lie. Congrats on your poem being featured today, Diane! Hugs, Emilia:)

Very apt expressions of the political races that are plastered on the TV . And so true, who should one vote for, who is the lesser of the two evils? Good luck Diane, in Carolyn timely contest. Agape, Moses
