God loves me and I love God
God is love and love is God
God wrote me down
On the empty page
Colored me vibrant
All light and shadows
God pieced me together
In hues of joy and pain
Whispered sunshine through me
Erasing even the memory of rain
God embraced me with faith
Assuring my soul of grace
Warming me in fires alive
Passion, praise and prayer
God painted me in brightest hope
Breathing kindness through my thoughts
Like wonders so satisfying
They penetrate the depths of my feelings
God played music through my soul
Singing a melody of starlight dreams
Across each kiss of the wind
As it blows , breathless, on the lips
God planted me in fertile soil – love
Nurturing me with tenderness
Soothing away every insecurity
Dancing in rays of tangerine sunlight
His love lifts me up like exhilaration
Shimmering through the night
Reflecting the inspiration
That comes from a relationship
With the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
God is love and love is God
He is my Father and I am His child
I seek to know Him with every prayer
He knows me better than I’m even aware
