Like breathing, your light shines Whispering kisses that remind my why There is a love far wiser, far quieter… Than starlight or moon glow, sunlight Reflecting the song of grace and hope Abiding in the heart of a life who knows… Real love grows and grows! Generous and peaceful, a serenity Kindness in hues of inspiration Awakening beauty that is like an embrace Making me feel humble and free, Piercing the darkness within me So that the light shines through, stirring Beauty that is more alive than the sea, More potent than the dream, Filled with hope and faith – praise Echoing in the hollow night It is the wonder, the amazing smile A piece of history – the old surviving The newness of this insight, this ancient Promise who bids the heart to rise up Flee the fear, the tear… despair Who knows only to grieve It is you, my courageous friend Who makes a way… again and again So that I can fall away from the dread And fall into the sweetness of a peace Far more attractive than the night Peace that reminds me there is silence There is promise… there is this moment And I can find assurance in the love That rains joy through my soul Love that comes to life When you remind me, with your light …. There is a man who was the sacrifice And because He lives Because He forgives I never need to fear… He is always near!
