He Drove All Night

Many years ago 
Bess had a boyfriend
Neal lived in a small town
A long distance from Bess
They met through a friend

They spoke on the phone 
For hours chatting
He asked for a date
He wanted to treat
The next day their date

Early in the morn
At 7:00 o'clock
She heard a loud knock
It was Neil at the door 
In the early morn

They went for a drive
Then to the movies
They  both wanted to see
It not long until
Bes heard him snoring

Neal Neal drove all night 
To be together
When tired he slept
He slept suddenly
Through the whole movie
