He Carried His Sorrow To the Grave
He carried his sorrow to the grave,
a man who has lost everything,
is a man who will lose faith.
Sometimes it is better never
to have had, than to lose
everything you have,
you can't lose what you
never had.
A poor man is sometimes
rich and a rich man is
sometimes poor.
This man started out poor
and became very rich,
he was sort of a Job
of the modern world.
He married had many
children and gained
wealth beyound measure.
Then in one night while
away on a business trip,
a fire broke out that
swept through his
large house that
left everyone dead.
The next day the great
stock market crash
of 1929 took the rest
of his wealth,
two days later,
he climbed out
onto the ledge
of a 24 story building
and jumped for all to see,
he carried his sorrow to
the grave.
