Have I Been Sleeping That Long
Have I been sleeping that long?
With most of the throng,
Now no longer even pretending to be strong.
Their attention span less than that of king Kong,
Nobody knowing what to do, now things have gone horribly wrong,
If this situation were to prolong,
Would we still be able to remember the words for a song?
To keep our spirits where they belong.
God help us if a virus were to come along,
And we are forced to stay in the same spot for long,
Without coffee that is strong.
