in the dark of night…
beneath my confidante the moon
thoughts in and out wander
no constraints and unguarded
my heart on display without fear
in the still of night…
my muse takes to writing
candid without veil or guile
ink and emotions flow freely
till all has been said and done
in the haunt of night…
silent all mysteries hover
blurring the confines of realms
till memories of you warmly beckon
I follow close my eyes and drift away
