Harvest of My Heart

The stillness of a cool summer night, reminds me of the love I once had, she was the harvest of my heart. Leaves dropping in the fall takes me back when hand in hand we would stroll down to our pond and talk of, what was to be in the days ahead of joy that we would share together into our old age growing closer we, would always be together, she had such a smile that would melt my heart every time, the harvest of my heart carves memories deep into my aching soul. One day death paid her a visit and took my harvest of my heart, away from me, so many beautiful years ago. Now I sit alone, thinking only of the joy that we shared, memories that I will always store in my soul and mind of my harvest of my heart.
