She wants to chase happy, but she’s chained to a sombre,
Life of mournful and blue,
She wants to escape to a dream of care free,
She wants to begin all anew,
And leave the woe of what she’s become,
To leave her life of bad choice,
And wake up in peace, across the red line,
With a loud, proud, dignified voice,
But, you see, she’s forgotten what her happiness is,
Living with sorrow instead,
She’s forgotten how to laugh and breathe,
Living with drugs, alone, in her head,
This chase to her happy has an obstacle to cross,
An obstacle that’s out of her sight,
Still, an obstacle that only she can solve,
An obstacle that’s her obstacle to fight.
