To those of you that have come here To read my thoughts as I drink beer Or maybe a glass of your own wine Whatever your poison is just fine However, all of us that are here Need to take the time to hear How we can really spread some cheer Into this next New Year In this insulated world of ours We forget all the hours That others less fortunate Have to alone input To just survive is not a game It drives most of those who must insane For peace and the desire not to be alone And a place they can call home As all they ever really want Is what you and I have already got So, let’s all share and start repairs With this next New Year DAMO
