Happiness Is a State of Mind
Happiness is a state of mind,
With a sweet smile, start the new day;
Instead of tears because of angst,
Count God's blessings midst mist and gray.
Happiness is a state of mind,
Wake up with a positive view;
Forget about the dark nightmare,
Bad dreams just fade into the blue.
Happiness is a state of mind,
Listen to the beautiful sound;
The cool chirp of birds is music,
Joy of the heart is truly found.
Happiness is a state of mind,
Think of a phrase or quotation;
Inspiring words will make you glad,
Despite distress and affliction.
Cheerful life lets one live longer,
For loneliness is far behind;
Ask God for His unceasing love,
Happiness is a state of mind.
