Happily Unmarried

.

A lady in our parish asked my good and true friend, a Priest,
"Being unmarried, aren't you lonely at the least?"
He smiled and said, " No I'll tell you why, because,
I'd much rather be lonely...... than wish I was!"

Ha-ha! Quite a smart aleck priest, Bob. Great, witty perspective on the "joys" of marriage. Love, Carolyn

That sometimes is part of marriage for some days we want everyone to just go somewhere and let us be alone. Great topic on which to write. Keep the creative pen flowing. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my poem "Crippled Pigeon". Sara
