Hanging On For Dear Life
The road to walk life is unsure and the time finite,
at the end of the dark tunnel, I don’t see the light.
I’m in the maze of wilderness in the stormy night,
see the splinters of the gloomy sky fall around me.
In its dark debris the shards of my broken hope lie.
I then travel within in search of the omnipotent light,
and surrender to the benign power of the almighty,
giving me the inner strength to hang on for dear life.
