Hands of Fate

I wonder where you are tonight? I wonder what your thoughts are now. So many things were brought to light, I can see the why, and also the how. I wasn't expecting easy, I wasn't hoping for kind. You said you would bury me if I tried. To bring up unpleasant details, I would find. Retaliation was a certainty, you implied. I wonder what happened to you? I wonder what prompted the hate? You caused the pain that you wanted to. I can only leave you to the hands of fate.

This hit harder than it should have. I went through this about 2 months ago. It's a crappy feeling. The healing continues...thank you for this, Sandra.
