within the confines of this carcass,
and can only hope
that as we make love to each other
my heart keeps strong.
For too much bliss can cut it in twain,
then I shall lose you forever,
eons of loveless grief.
Would I be able to bear the loss?
Should I take the risk?
How should I know
while this passion bubbles
unabated in my heart...
aching for your love?
