Halloween Poem # 4....House On the Hill
It stands alone so tall and gray
The look of it keeps kids away
But yet there are the ones who dare
Creep up the steps to get a scare
Down the creaking halls they go
Acting so brave don't you know
When suddenly they hear a moan
It seems the walls begin to groan
They are running,ghosts are chasing
Eyes wide open,hearts are racing
Now they cannot find the door
As they fly across the floor
Finally find their way outside
Scared to death they try to hide
Their friends are laughing at them still
As they leave that house on the hill
