HALLOWEEN MOON– for contest


It hung in Autumn’s eerie space
cold light of hallowed doom
across its blank unfeeling face
a witch upon a broom.

..."witches hats, coal black cats, broomstick riders, mice and rats" a line for an old Halloween song we sang in school...gotta have a witch in there....
