the blessings of rain are enhanced by the gift of beautiful rainbow Won 4th place in rain contest Requested comment: All of his life, my son was fascinated by rainbows. He would phone to be sure I didn't miss one.. The day we buried him when I was home alone, a most beautiful rainbow appeared. There had been no rain.

I literally had shivers down my spine as I read your footnote dear Joyce--what a beautiful reminder for that day...may God bless your son's soul--could it be that him & my brother are friends over there...

Joyce, rainbows are reminders from God of love despite anger...a covenant of beauty...understanding. It is a reminder of love. (I am sorry about your loss.) There is a beautiful song with the words, "I'll send you a rainbow...so you'll know...I'm watching from above...(Or something like that-)" Those words were shared by a terminally ill mother to her toddler. It states a lifetime of hope and love as does your haiku. Very nice writing. Lovingly, Dane Ann
