Notes About The Poem

Haiku 12 - Bird

the cold north wind blows
birds dash into the darkness…
no light in winter.

zebra finch on tree
chirping midst perfumed blossoms:
children adore birds.

We can always enjoy God's creation, general Revelation. If birds were not winging the skies, humans would feel lonely among the stars (signed: Bird Adorer). Shalom shalom Victor

Lovely haiku, Victor. NJ State bird is the finch. Funny, I've only seen a handful in my entire life here.

So do adults like me. Our little friends are hiding under our shrubs right now, wind-chill 15 here in Texas. Thanks for a well written Haiku, Victor. Bill

Such an exquisite haiku. Avian haiku is something which always has its own enigma and you really penned a miracle.
