Jan, I love seeing fingers of sunlight shine down through the clouds like the ones in your picture and in the imagery in your lovely poem. I am so pleased to be in the company of you and Paul on Charlotte's list. I couldn't be in better company! I love how you both write. Congrats!

Jan, my son sent me a video of my 6 mo old granddaughter playing and laughing and smiling.....entitled "Brightens even the cloudiest day"....This lovely haiku reminded me of her smile and laugh...Well done...

who wouldn't like this one? it's such a feel-good little piece; I like the warming image :) had I seen a bit more juxtaposition/cut I would've placed it higher - congrats on your win in my contest!
