                  wild wind serenades
                  as snowflakes begin their dance...

First and foremost, I was thrilled to see your name at the top of the list. Awesome, girlfriend. Second, was I the only one that thought the Hauki had to be about love? I was sure that he was asking them to be about love. My cognitive skills aside, I love the imagery in yours, it is magnificent and the win well deserved. Yay, Connie! Love you ... CayCay

I assumed it was about someone loving haiku. Haiku is usually seasonal and about nature, but I can see where that might be confusing. Sorry Caycay. I will check out more of your work. Thank you my friend. xxoo : )

Thank you Lin. I was in New York the first time I experienced snow as an adult and I was thrilled with the softness of it falling. I was born in Kansas but left there at three and a half and my memories have faded some of winters from that young age. Cheers, Connie
