Grow From Pain
As the night falls softly, a cool breeze caresses my cheek,
My mind says that the mountain is narrow, only a few reach the peak,
As I was consumed by wanderlust,,,
I found myself on the edge of an abyss...
The feeling of smug and complacency evaded me, but my heart said, I thrive on pain..
I envy the ocean, it's too deep,,
I plunged into abject misery, struggling to come out of the well...
It was a battle between my heart and brain,
I pushed myself and kept going...
As I perpetuate a lie in disguise...,
My soul was convinced, it pushed me to my limits,
And my heart ran rampant as it didn't want to stay behind, locked in the past,,
I took a chance in the unknown,,
And here I am, out of the well in a massive ocean...
