Grey Wind

Low and heavy Fierce and bone chilling Swaying against the skies silhoutte Grey wind into the breath Life remains Trembling Fur parka around the face Masked, unrecognisable Chilled and stiff Frost bit nose

You have accentuated the winter cold in this one to the degree that I will have to go and get some hot cocoa. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work. Mom

Very "chilling" description of life in the North, Doris. But I'd trade a sunburn for a little "frost bit nose" anyday. Your descriptions are very vivid. Enjoyed hearing about life in your area during winter. Love, Carolyn
