Once elected into office
He revealed he was no novice
Going back on every promise
With disdain and dose of malice
To the land became a menace
Did his best to hide the vices
By the use of herbs and spices
Used the art of false disguises
But the stink of deep corruption
Failed to mask excess consumption
Till at last, greedy and bloated
In disgrace, by people loathed
Karma came with poisoned chalice
Handing out poetic justice.
