Greater Consciousness

Greater consciousness

Far from cognisance
in darkness of day,
Insensitive we wander
conscience at bay,

Cherishing beauty
of nature limitless,
His resources eaten
exhausted boundless,

Lost in materialism
savour the marmalade,
As tender souls
writhe behind our facade,

Illuminating aureole
only to perceive,
When decades of selfism
time will deceive,

The moment these ashes
rest in urn,
Greater consciousness
to the soul will return,

Bubbles in air float
as all desires lay to rest,
Merges into universe
serene every conquest !

Profoundly didactic, Dr. Upma. Great verses with deep meaning. A seven of course!
