Great Beauty Lies . . .
Great beauty lies not in my three score and ten body
Or in my bent arthiritic frame encapsulated in fragility
Nor does it lie in my wrinkled skin covered in age freckles
Oh no, geat beauty lies within . . .
Great beauty lies within a heart of shimmering gold
A heart that shines on morality and honesty tenfold
Within a virtuous sublimity graciously imbibed
A graciousness so completely inscribed
Great beauty lies not in facetious facades
Or voluptuous curves in detail defined
Nor does it lie in sinful unadulterated designs
Oh no, great beauty lies within . . .
Great beauty lies within sweetness sublime
A sweetness filled with innocence divine
Within an integrity and perception immortal
A perception so chaste and integrity perpetual
Ah yes, great beauty lies within . . .
