Grateful the Dream
glowing embers fade
as I reflect a spirit filled day
crickets pause their salute
as my steps hush their orchestrated flight
retiring for the evening
I kneel to enter my sacred place of peace
a feeling of solitude-delight resonates
fresh air pulses through
my spirit calms thy flesh
waters wallow in constant desire
my mind drifts to rest
grateful the dream.........
