Grass Blades

Suddenly, skin slits. . . . . My fingers are bleeding – ew… I taint the grass – and it smells like strife’s (Close at hand) Out of the blue, blades Shred my once beloved hopes Red grass cools me off (Things are getting out of hand) And THEN… the oceans Overhead glitters and swirls With awesome creatures (Things are working out just fine) Restlessly, mind plays With fire and I’m fired…ooohh… And I climb for my life – I laugh hard (What a relief)
