Grandma's Hands : Part I

I never felt Grandma's hands When asked for five words or less To capture the supposed root of my trauma The angst of mind Revealing the core of my self and my being I conveyed my deepest pains My darkest pains In such a simple way It scared me The truth scared me And it petrified all of them I never felt Grandma's hands

Our elders are so important, so wise. Without them the journey of life can be traumatic, angst ridden and painful. Good poem.
