Grandfather's Generosity
I'd like to thank my grandfather
For always offering food and shelter.
Especially for having always been there
Whenever I feel others no longer care.
I like to tell my grandfather
That I love him, with my voice so tender.
Always shall I highly regard this man,
For he has often done more than what he can.
I'd like to thank my grandfather
For all the times when he was my caretaker.
Every now and then I clearly remember
Days of my childhood that we shared together.
I like to tell my grandfather
Why I even ever at all bother
With all of my so-called trouble
When I know, like him I can make my gratitude double.
