Good Morning World

Good morning world, how are you today The stock market is your heart they say But when I want to measure life I go to the swamps to see how rife Pelicans and lizards play And signs of empty shells where turtles lay And nature recycling our decay. Good morning world, and to you happy birthday Every virus, cell and seed coming to life today Think about it, one day ago suddenly not here In given presence and urge to appear While other life are being swept away Like dust from the foot of the image of clay Dust that makes the sweet blossoms of May. Good Morning world, the sands of time slips away And God smiles while his children play Ceasers over the invisble leaf of time We had our ones going from prime to prime The even is the gap sublime that holds the fray Against our seething and swift dismay To find that we are the game our life does play.
